Στη διάρκεια μιας μεγάλης πυρκαγιάς στο δάσος, όλα τα ζώα τρέχουν να ξεφύγουν από τη φωτιά εκτός από ένα αηδόνι,
το οποίο παίρνει μια σταγόνα νερό στο ράμφος του, πετάει πάνω από τις φλόγες και τη ρίχνει στη φωτιά.
«Είσαι τρελός, δεν θα σταματήσεις την πυρκαγιά!», του λέει ένα ζώο.
«Είσαι τρελός, δεν θα σταματήσεις την πυρκαγιά!», του λέει ένα ζώο.
«Το ξέρω»,
απαντά το αηδόνι, «όμως κάνω αυτό που μου αναλογεί...»
